At the offices of Steven W. Seibert, D.M.D., M.S. and Samia Suleiman-Ata, D.D.S., M.S., we are proud to utilize the latest technology in dental laser therapy. Dr. Seibert and Dr. Suleiman-Ata are proficient in the use of laser therapy for both surgical procedures and as a means to promote gum and tissue healing.
Low level laser therapy, also known as cold laser treatment (Lumix), involves the application of non-invasive, high intensity, non-surgical laser light to promote pain relief, tissue healing and repair. Surgical laser therapy (Waterlase Dentistry) combines laser energy and a spray of water to allow Dr. Seibert and Dr. Suleiman-Ata to perform a wide range of dental procedures while providing more comfort to the patient.
Laser therapy is a drug-free, non-invasive therapy that promotes superior healing ability. Lasers are extremely versatile, and procedures performed with lasers typically have less bleeding, swelling and post-operative pain than those performed more traditionally. Additionally, laser treatments can often be combined with traditional treatment for even better results.
