At the offices of Dr. Steven W. Seibert, we are proud to utilize the latest technology in dental laser therapy. Drs. Seibert and Dr. Kim are proficient in the use of laser therapy for both surgical procedures and as a means to promote gum and tissue healing.
Low level laser therapy, also known as cold laser treatment (Lumix), involves the application of non-invasive, high intensity, non-surgical laser light to promote pain relief, tissue healing and repair. Surgical laser therapy (Waterlase® Dentistry) combines laser energy and a spray of water to allow Drs. Seibert and Dr. Kim to perform a wide range of dental procedures while providing more comfort to the patient.
Laser therapy is a drug-free, non-invasive therapy that promotes superior healing ability. Lasers are extremely versatile, and procedures performed with lasers typically have less bleeding, swelling and post-operative pain than those performed more traditionally. Additionally, laser treatments can often be combined with traditional treatment for even better results.
